This unique collector frame (5.75 x 7.75) commemorates the Gearing Class destroyers, the longest-serving class of destroyers in United States Navy history. Launched in the final year of World War II and modernized through the Cold War, Gearing Class ships embodied adaptability, endurance, and American naval power across decades. The US Navy commissioned 98 of these destroyers, making it one of the most popular classes used in World War II. This handcrafted display features two custom made 3D resin models of the Gearing class destroyer - a profile view and an overhead view. The box includes vital statistics in addition to a comprehensive list of every Gearing class destroyer commissioned by the United States Navy. The black shadow box has a glass panel.
Whether you're a naval history enthusiast or simply appreciate the beauty of naval engineering, this shadow box is a fascinating addition to your collection. Experience the legacy of this iconic destroyer in stunning detail, and relive a piece of naval history with this unique frame.
Please note for an additional fee, the display can be customized to a specific vessel within the Gearing Class. The vessel name can be entered in the "Special Instructions" field in the shopping cart during the checkout process.
